TLS Engineer

We are looking for a talented, proactive and quality-oriented colleague to join a strong group, developing one of the world's top leading online gaming brands. Our payment system is a web-based product that maintains a high availability secure system which handles all money transactions.

In this position, you will be responsible for investigating and solving production-level issues, diving into logs, database configuration and code to root out bugs that affect our product. You will understand how an end-to-end payment platform works, interact with stakeholders that use and manage our services and gain first-hand experience in working with a live product that must abide to customer and compliance constraints.

What you'll be doing:

  • Analyze application logs, database configuration and information and, ultimately, understand and work with application code to root out and fix production issues.
  • Monitor product KPIs on a daily basis to prevent and predict unwanted application behavior and ensure a valid and compliant solution.
  • Work with Kibana, Grafana, SQL Server, New Relic and other production monitoring and interaction tools to get a deeper understanding of the status of our products.
  • Work with a team of developers and QAs to resolve complex requirements coming from problematic production scenarios.
  • Interact on a daily basis with developers, QAs, product, second-level support and business stakeholders to understand and resolve production issues.
Job Requierments

What we are looking for:

  • Good understanding of application code, services and infrastructure in relation to log analysis;
  • Experience with log analysis tools such as Kibana or New Relic;
  • Experience with application monitoring tools such as Grafana;
  • Experience with writing basic queries with MS SQL;
  • Experience with analyzing and writing front-end code (HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript) - an advantage;
  • Experience with analyzing and writing server-side code (C# over .NET 8/.NET Framework 4.8+) - an advantage;
  • Familiar with multi-server environment maintenance - an advantage;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with production applications;
  • High motivation to learn and grow professionally;
  • High self-learning abilities, independence and well-organized working methods;
  • Great communication skills;
  • Out-of-the box thinking and quick learning ability;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
