The wider Treasury team consists of 11 people, led by the Group Treasurer reporting to the Group VP of Finance. 

Reporting to the Group Treasurer, you will be responsible for managing the Treasury Systems for 888 William Hill. You will need to ensure that all aspects of our systems support our cash and liquidity, reporting and forecasting, risk management, and treasury operations and controls are managed effectively across both UK and international geographies.

The role will consist of the following, but not limited to the following (and can be expected to change as the newly formed 888 William Hill Group is integrated):


  • Responsible for the quality of our Treasury System (Coupa TM5) and associated control protocols;
  • Manage projects to integrate the 888 Group of businesses onto the TM5 Treasury Management System (e.g. training, feature demos, feedback sessions, etc.);
  • Ensure that new features are operating at an acceptable level before release into the production environment (manage upgrades and patch testing);
  • Set up the link between the TMS and the ERP ledger systems;
  • Update Treasury Systems documentation - records of testing completed, new processes, the flow of funds, etc;
  • Lead systems automation and continuous improvement initiatives for Treasury processes;
  • Troubleshoot system or network issues related to Treasury;

Cash & liquidity management:

  • Support daily cash management process through the use of systems to produce daily cash position reports;
  • Lead the roll-out of the 13-week operational cash forecast (“OCFF”) process to the 888 Group of companies and improve the current process where possible;
  • Ensure system control protocols are in place to report opening (and closing) bank accounts and ensuring they are linked to SWIFT and the treasury management system (TM5);
  • Ensure system controls are in place to cover all payments made through TM5 (maximizing STP processing);
  • Support visibility of all cash balances (Company, Customer, and Payment Service Providers) from the TMS;


  • Lead the annual TMS SWIFT external audit process;
  • Leverage system data to support any regulatory reporting (such as UKMIR/EMIR);

Financial risk management:

  • Support the Head of Treasury in implementing and monitoring Treasury risk management strategy, working closely with group divisions, and ensuring compliance with group policies at all times;
  • Work with the Finance team to establish groupwide FX exposures and implement an appropriate hedging strategy in line with group policy;

External relationship management:

  • Lead the relationship with the systems provider (Coupa for TM5);

Internal relationship management:

  • Work closely with counterparts in the parent company treasury team in line with integration plans;
  • Work closely with various areas of the business including business finance and finance systems;
  • Represent the Treasury function across the 888 William Hill group and raise the profile of the team as a whole;

Treasury reporting and accounting:

  • Work with the Group's finance team to ensure that, where possible, systems solutions are employed to report all treasury balances and transactions in the Group’s ERP system;
  • Support the development of a suit a Treasury performance and KRI reports using systems;


  • Identify initiatives for improving Treasury performance and risk management;
Job Requierments
  • Strong Treasury Management Systems knowledge and background;
  • Strong knowledge of how TMS links with ERP, SWIFT, 360T, and Bloomberg;
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills;
  • An internally motivated candidate with the ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment can prioritize and multitask;
  • Continuously work to a high standard;
  • You will have worked in an industry with diverse, multinational operations and will be commercially focused;
  • A good communicator;
  • Confident and articulate in supporting the business and working alongside advisers;
