Corporate Infrastructure Engineer

The Corporate Infrastructure team is a small but vital group responsible for the smooth and reliable operation of all corporate core IT infrastructure. Our primary focus is ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the systems and applications that underpin the entire organization. We're a collaborative team, relying on each other's expertise and problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges effectively.

What you will be doing:

- Installation, management and administration of VMware environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance of virtualized servers and applications.

- Deployment, configuration, and management of Citrix solutions, enabling secure and efficient delivery of applications and desktops to users across various locations.

- Hardware installation, maintenance, and upgrades, ensuring the physical infrastructure is robust and capable of meeting current and future demands.

- Management of backup and recovery processes, safeguarding critical business data against loss or corruption.

- Storage infrastructure management, including SAN/NAS solutions

- Leasing with internal teams to provide technical solutions

- 3rd level support, resolving technical issues that cannot be addressed by other support tiers

- Infrastructure-related projects, from initial planning and resource allocation to successful execution and implementation, aligning technology solutions with business objectives. 

Job Requirements

Who we are looking for:

- A strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP Protocols.

- Experience with Entra ID and AD.

-Experience with hardware installation, configuration and troubleshooting.

- Proven experience with Operating systems, Windows and Linux.

- Proven experience with virtualization infrastructure - VMware.

- Experience with Citrix technologies for application and desktop presentation.

- Experience with SAN and NAS solutions.

- Experience with backup solutions.

- Experience with Web Proxy solutions.  

- Ability to work in a team and as an individual with the ability to develop relationships.

- Strong will to learn and ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision.

- Ability to work under pressure.

- Ability to problem solve is a must.
