We're looking for a RPA Developer to join the RPA Centre of Excellence (“CoE”) to manage critical aspects of the process automation lifecycle, including Bot development, testing and deployment of assigned processes for the benefit of business users and their respective departments. The successful candidate will be an essential part of the RPA CoE team to collaborate with key stakeholders, internal customers, and colleagues, helping to successfully deliver the strategic goals of the company.

Reporting directly to a Senior RPA Developer as a key part of the RPA CoE, the RPA Developer is responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of process automation solutions to ensure a successful automation program and help the executive leadership team achieve the company’s strategic goals.

The RPA Developer will use their excellent time management skills, juggling multiple projects at once, ensuring they’re completed according to agreed timelines and to a high standard.

The RPA Developer must be a strong team player and collaborator, able to adapt to fast changing needs, to support colleagues with day-to-day goals and build effective relationships with relevant influencers.

  • Work effectively and collaboratively as part of a wider CoE team.
  • Help to ensure the delivery of optimum solutions by peer-reviewing the structure, code, and workflow of automation developments in line with best practices and automation playbooks.
  • Assist Process Automation Business Analyst teams to assess technical feasibility of automation candidates.
  • Provide key inputs as required to the As-Is, To-Be and Solution Architecture Designs, prior to development.
  • Help implement and maintain the Automation Operating Model and Governance Frameworks.
  • Help to identify, communicate, and resolve technical infrastructure and architecture requirements.
  • Help to create and document test procedures and scenarios for user acceptance testing.
  • Support the Process Automation Business Analyst and business process teams with pilot and production readiness and go-live.
  • Help to determine and define any required automation solution change requests, ensuring the solution design architectures are updated and maintained properly and timely.
  • Help to define, design and develop Reusable Automation Components with the business process owner and Process Automation Business Analyst according to the automation Playbook.
  • Contribute ongoing inputs and to the automation Playbook methodologies and practices.
  • Ensure your Continued Professional Development applicable to the role including periodic training and certifications.
  • Develop and configure new automated process workflows and objects using best practices that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
  • Deliver projects in line with defined methodologies, ensuring that deliverables progress and status reporting is updated to highlight risks or issues to the delivery teams and program management.
  • Help to create and document test procedures and scenarios for UAT phases.
  • Aid the Process Automation Business Analyst and Automation Support teams with production go-live phases.
  • Help to create and maintain solution design documentation.
  • Help support existing automated processes by assisting and collaborating with business users, First Line Support Coordinators and Automation Support teams.
  • Ensure change requirements and additions are properly tested as part of structured change control and pipeline management processes.
Job Requierments

Core Technical Requisites

  • Minimum of 2 year’s practical experience developing, building, testing and deploying automated business processes using the UiPath RPA platform.
  • Automation examinations successfully completed in:

o  UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Associate

o  UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional

o  UiPath Certified Professional Automation Business Analyst Professional

  • Experience using process workflow and mapping technologies to build and test process automations.

Technically Advantageous

  • Experience of successful automation project delivery.
  • Advanced experience of Microsoft Excel, including macros or Visual Basic scripts.
  • Experience using scripting technologies or programming languages such as Java, C, C#, Python, or .Net.
  • Understanding of workflow logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualise it as an automated solution.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and present technical details to a non-technical audience and translate business requirements into automation solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management to meet shared responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written skills to produce clear and concise notations for process automation solutions delivered and the ability to understand and present technical details to a non-technical audience and to construct clear, concise solutions.
