We are looking for a Webmaster to be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of our website. Webmaster responsibilities include building our website from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout, templates, developing mini-games, and front-end tools, and performing ongoing QA.
Responsibilities:
- Write efficient and clean code using best practices.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify system requirements.
- Develop existing tools and new ones for any of the BU requirements.
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent and execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off.
Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
- Experience with jQuery.
- Experience working with a CMS and mobile-first development.
- Experience developing dynamic landing pages and JavaScript-based web applications.
- A solid understanding of SASS, React, and Angular is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience replicating mockups into a finished product.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment.
- Good communication skills in English - reading, and writing.
- Experience with Java is a plus.
- Portfolio or working examples of past work.
