Account Manager Epayments

Job brief:

We are looking for an Account Manager to support the ePayments Relationship Managers to develop cross opportunities and to drive growth in our 'share of wallet'.

Account Manager’s responsibilities include: monitoring of payment methods, preparing onboarding documents, updating internal databases and conducting market research. If you have good communication skills and would like to gain experience in the payments ecosystem, we’d like to meet you. Previous experience as an operational account manager is a plus.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

Working with our tier one payments suppliers, you will operationally support the ePayments Relationship Managers to develop cross opportunities and to drive Sparkware 888 growth. You will work closely alongside the suppliers to best align 888 strategy to their proposition. You will get the opportunity to lead your own operational projects and grow your own relationships with teams at some of the world’s largest payment institutions.

As an Account Manager you will also have exposure to various business units internally including Finance, Fraud, Delivery and Product Managers to support our growth - giving you great insight into the company and the payments industry.

You will be an excellent communicator, results focused and self-motivated. You will understand how to achieve the most from each working day; must be curious and persistent with your questioning and have a passion for developing relationships. It would be very helpful if you already have some knowledge (ideally exposure) in the payments industry.

We are looking for someone who can bring self-starting, confident and proactive qualities to the role - in a team that fosters self-development in a supportive environment.


  • Managing all operational day-to-day requirements
  • Preparing, filing, and retrieving payments-related information, like onboarding and due-diligence
  • Support internal and external operational audits
  • Research market trends and competition
  • Update and maintain internal databases
  • Perform back-office tasks to support Relationship Mangers as needed
  • Daily monitoring in order to identify trends
  • Provide post-production support and monitoring
  • Contacting suppliers via e-mail or phone to answer queries or retrieve information about our account

Job Requierments

  • You are a fluent English speaker
  • You have operational work experience as an Account Manager, Account Coordinator or a similar role with exposure to account management in operational areas
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships

  • B.A in Business Administration / Economics / Industrial Management / Law
